Things to Know:
Frosty’s Birthday – We will enjoy magic while celebrating Frosty the
Snowman’s birthday on Monday, January 27th. Please see permission slip below for details.
Football Day - In celebration of the Super Bowl, please dress
your child in a favorite football shirt or jersey on Friday, 2/3.
Valentine’s Day - Please
have your child label all cards to Friend.
This makes passing out cards easier.
Our parties are Monday, February 14th so please volunteer with the
teachers.
Ms. B’s Music & Movement – On Monday, February 20th,
the children will love getting up and moving to whatever fun props and music
Ms. B brings with her. The giggles can
be heard throughout the preschool. This
is an all school activity so if you do not want your child to participate,
please let us know in advance. Please
see the permission slip below for more details.
Dentist Visit - Dr. Stanford will be visiting the children on
February 21st at 9am to discuss the importance of taking care of our teeth.
Mardi Gras – We have such a busy February that Love N’
Laughter will be celebrating Mardi Gras on Wednesday, February
22nd. It is a fun day to
decorate masks, put on some beads from Ms. Kim and parade around our
classrooms.
During bad weather, please be patient with us as we
safely get our families and ourselves where we need to be. It is always a good idea to call first to
make sure we are here.
Reminders:
Cold Weather: We do go
outside for limited times when it is cold outside so please make sure your
child has a warm coat, hat, and mittens.
Label, label, label please.
Extra Clothes: We cannot
stress enough how important it is that your child have at least one extra set
of clothes in his or her cubby.
Absences/Tardies: Please be sure to call and let us know if your
child will not be attending school or will be brought in late. We allow some kids to nap in other rooms and
we need to set our day by 9:30am.
Illness Policy: Please
remember if your child is sent home, he/she may not return for 24 hours. According to school policy as mandated by the
state, a child must be symptom free (diarrhea/fever/vomiting) for 24 hours
before returning to school. We would
also like to encourage all parents to take their children in for a flu shot.
Drop Off: We would appreciate it if
parents could do a quick drop off with their child to ease the separation. If you want to play with your child on the
playground, please do so at Pick Up time.
Toys from Home: As stated in our policy,
please do not bring toys from home to school.
They get lost and broken and cause issues in the room. This includes the girls’ jewelry.
**Please remember that breakfast time ENDS promptly at 7:45am.

Dear Parents – Happy New
Year! I hope 2012 brings happiness, joy and prosperity to you and yours.
We have lots of fun activities planned for our winter months. Instead
of taking field trips outside of the school, we will be bringing activities
to us until the weather gets nicer. Our first one will be Monday,
January 16, when Kids In Action comes for some winter music and
movement. Frosty's birthday party,
presented by Abra Kid Abra,
will be here on Friday, January 27th; you will find permission
slips attached for each. Included you
will find registration forms for our summer program and Fall 2012.
Please take a moment to fill these out and return ASAP so I can begin the
registration process and know exactly how many people I can let in from our
wait list. Thank you! It has been a
pleasure working with each one of you and your child/children this past
year. We at Love N' Laughter are very blessed with the wonderful
families that make up this school. I am looking forward to an exciting
and rewarding 2012! Best wishes to everyone for a Happy New Year and I

The latest
and greatest permission slips for field trips and other special activities are
all online. In addition, we have the Love N' Laughter official school shirt
order form online as well. Print them out and turn them in to Ms. Kim or your
child's teacher.
