Here is what we
have been up to ... |
The
month of May will bring lots of review and practice with our writing and
cutting skills. Be sure to look at the
May calendar.
As
I look back over the school year we covered or introduced the following… In Math, recognition,
making patterns, counting sheets and graphing. In Science, life cycles,
weather, and mixtures. We read a
huge assortment of books that usually went along with our weekly themes. In writing, we worked on the concepts of
print and lots of letter recognition.
Over
the summer I will introduce inventive spelling.
This is writing words by using letters that they sound out. It should be a lot of fun. Before you know it you can have them make the
grocery list for you!
